Alliance Environmental Group’s latest project through AIRTEK, its duct cleaning division, involved the decontamination of a medical laboratory.
Alliance was called out for tenant improvements, including soft demolition of an interior space that had lead based paint on structural walls behind drywall/plywood.
Alliance was called on-site to the W Hotel in Los Angeles for asbestos remediation work on the roof. In a single day, Alliance safely and professionally removed: 47 TSI Pipe Elbows, 22 Pipe Fittings, and 10 square feet of contaminated TSI Tank Insulation. This sort of project is where Alliance’s strengths truly shine through—immediate, effective response on a sensitive job site where quick completion is of highest-priority.
Alliance Environmental Group was called in as a subcontractor to remove stucco that had tested positive for asbestos from one corner of a three-level, wood-framed condominium complex. In the early morning of July 10th 2009 the Monterey Fire Department responded to a call in a downtown building, and when they arrived at the scene found fire in the basement. The fire was deemed significant because it was in a building attached on either side by two other buildings, the Golden State Theatre and a former bank building.

Alliance was contacted by a campground that was experiencing a situation that unfortunately is all too common. Bedbug infestation! With the recent outbreaks it is becoming more and more difficult to keep these pests under control.
In fall 2006 Alliance removed asbestos contaminated drywall and joint compounds from a four-star hotel in Anaheim near Disneyland. Alliance established containments for each of the 57 units in the eight-story, 85,000 square foot hotel to reduce the risk of asbestos exposure for both guests, visitors, and employees.
Nineteen homes located in a Country Club were threatened with rebuilding and excessive remediation costs.
Alliance used the ThermaPureHeat™ treatment which was recently awarded the “Best New Product” honor by the National Society of Professional Engineers. The ThermaPureHeat™ process eliminated the mold from these homes, a result that was verified by a third-party testing company.
When this strip mall went up in flames, tests were done that revealed asbestos containing materials were in the stucco and drywall.
Asbestos was used in thousands of building materials prior to 1978. After 1978 people realized that the inhalation of some asbestos fibers may cause a number of serious illnesses, including cancer.
In October 2006, Alliance demolished a 2,900 sq. ft. Sherman Oaks home. We used a cost-effective excavator with special “thumb” attachment to mechanically teardown the home. The excavator, with its several material handling attachments, segregated the combustible debris from the solid materials debris, which allows for proper disposal.
Unknown causes kept a family in Montecito, California sick with chronic allergies. Alliance Environmental Group was asked to heat the entire house using a new technology, ThermaPureHeat™. Alliance is the second company in the US to be trained and licensed for this simple, but effective procedure.
In 2005 Alliance Environmental performed emergency clean up for the City of Burbank. Alliance Environmental is able to mobilize at short notice to remediate unforeseen scenarios in most any project. The remediation for the City of Burbank was needed when a large quantity of lime was spilled on the cities water and power plant. The lime was being delivered when mechanical failure on the delivery truck caused the lime to spill out onto the city’s yard. Alliance was called in to remediate the spill in Burbank at 6:00pm; by 7:00pm Alliance had a crew in place at the site beginning remediation.
In 2003 Alliance Environmental performed mold remediation at a residence in Rancho Sante Fe. The remediation was necessary because of a pin-hole pipe leak of several months affecting the kitchen, hallways, dining room, stairwell, and bathroom.
During the final stages of completion the remodel construction company re-punctured the same pipe. The homeowner was distraught, to say the least, but called Alliance back in to try and solve their dilemma.
When the hills east of Los Angeles and San Diego counties burned for several days in November of 2003, the effects were felt for hundreds of miles as thick layers of ash settled on homes and streets. Since then, finer and finer ash has kicked up with each Santa Ana wind; as a result, contaminants now linger in our air ducts.
An Encino apartment complex suffered heavy damage in May of 2002 when a tenant ignited a cigarette after disconnecting the gas line to his stove.
For 15 hours after being tented for fumigation, natural gas slowly leaked into a Torrance home. The resulting explosion - the equivalent of 200 to 400 sticks of dynamite - sent shock waves through two cities, causing damage to at least 115 homes, blowing out windows and injuring 10 people.
