Heat Treatment for Bed Bugs

Alliance Environmental Group and ThermaPureHeat Treatment come to the rescue of a Los Angeles Apartment Complex.

Alliance Environmental Group was recently contacted by a Property Management company regarding a bed bug infestation in eight units of their building in Los Angeles.  After a thorough investigation was completed, a work plan was designed by Alliance Environmental Group’s trained technicians to eradicate the bed bugs via heat treatment.

Prior to Alliance’s mobilization, the tenants were temporarily relocated to hotels due to the problem.  The work areas consisted of eight individual two-story units that were approximately 1,100 square feet.  Six units out of the eight were occupied with tenants.  When using the heat treatment for bed bugs, Alliance normally recommends that the tenants leave all their personal items in the unit to ensure that there is no transference.  Transference is when bed bugs attach themselves to individuals clothing or body and are moved to another area or potentially brought back into an area that has just been eradicated.  The beg bugs heat treatment ensures that all pests (as well as their eggs) are destroyed completely.

With Alliances trained technicians and patented ThermaPureHeat Treatment technology, we were able to successfully eradicate the bed bugs from eight units in approximately two days.  Both the tenants and the property manager were grateful for Alliance Environmental Group’s swift response and the effectiveness of its beg bug heat treatment.
