Alliance Environmental handled the demolition of a 2,900 sq. ft. Sherman Oaks home. Using a cost-effective excavator with special “thumb” attachment to mechanically tear down the home, the excavator segregated the combustible debris from the solid materials debris, which allows for proper disposal. While in the process of removing the home, Alliance utilized fine water misting at all times for dust control. By utilizing specialized equipment, only two men were needed throughout the entire project, which was completed in just over one week. The team was able to salvage 40 percent of the materials: toilets, door frames, doors, windows, showers, plywood sheeting, structural rafters and cabinetry. Through continued analysis the contract was reduced by 20 percent.

This 1200 sq. ft. house was located in a densely populated residential area in Oceanside, CA. Big or small, Alliance has the ability to bring in the right equipment to get the job done in the most efficient manner from small equipment like bob cats and backhoes – to larger equipment like excavators. The project took just two days to complete. Both the home and foundation were removed.
