Improvements at Third Street Promenade
Alliance handled tenant improvements for a popular show company, including soft demolition of an interior space that had lead-based paint on structural walls behind drywall/plywood.
Alliance removed all existing walls, ceilings and floor finishings, and then stabilized the exposed structural lead painted walls on cinder block under DHS/CDPH guidelines.
Once everything was prepped, Alliance obtained signed-off by a licensed certified consultant and passed on the inspection. Alliance also provided exterior demolition of the outside canopy, door and skylights.
Alliance completed all the work on the 5,000 s.f. building in only three weeks and turned the project over to the tenant a week earlier than anticipated.
Playa Del Rey Apartment Complex
Alliance Environmental was hired to assist in the refurbishing of a 205-unit apartment complex and clubhouse in a fairly short period. The project, located in the beach city of Playa Del Rey, required a lot of manpower in order to remove asbestos acoustic ceilings, flooring and approximately 50,000 sq. ft. of stucco from 105 units in only 25 days. Alliance Environmental was able to commit a team of 20 guys to the project in order to complete it in the limited timeframe determined by the general contractor’s schedule.
