Structural pasteurization is an engineered process where high temperatures are introduced to a structure or portion of a structure for the purpose of reducing bio-organisms to acceptable levels without damage to the structure.
Alliance Environmental offers two different structural pasteurization heat services aimed at reducing or eliminating air pollution in your home: ThermaPureHeat® treatment and Thermal Remediation®, both of which attack harmful pollutants by pasteurizing the structure.

Our structural pasteurization program introduces dry, sauna-like temperatures to target and kill organisms in flooded buildings, sewage backups, bacterial contaminations, and in new construction. Raw sewage backflow, in particular, can contain a variety of pathogens, including HIV and the virus that causes hepatitis.
The heating process – between 120 – 180 degrees for at least one hour – dries out and disinfects the structure, and kills pathogens in inaccessible areas, where mold, bacteria and insects breed. The heat temperature and amount of time it is maintained is dependent on the bacteria and viruses present in the cleanup area and which time of heat treatment is used.
This process also makes the building less conducive to mold and bacterial growth, as well as reducing annoying and irritating odors. Since no toxic chemicals are used, our technicians can enter and monitor the treated areas. There is no additional clean-up required, no residue or chemical smells, and no harmful residue because the waste will not need to be disposed of as a biohazard.
