In little more than a week, Alliance had a better way to tear down a structure.
In October 2006, Alliance demolished a 2,900 sq. ft. Sherman Oaks home.
We used a cost-effective excavator with special “thumb” attachment to mechanically teardown the home. The excavator, with its several material handling attachments, segregated the combustible debris from the solid materials debris, which allows for proper disposal.
While in the process of removing the home, Alliance utilized fine water misting at all times, necessary for dust control. With our special equipment, only two men were needed throughout the entire project. Plus we salvaged 40% of the materials: toilets, door frames, doors, windows, showers, plywood sheeting, structural rafters and cabinetry.
Parts of this project and the contract were reduced by 20% of the original amount.
