What Our Clients Say

In the past five years I have had the pleasure of doing business with Alliance numerous times. Their professionals always have the proper equipment and expertise necessary to handle the worst possible flood related damage imaginable. Regardless of the time of day, their response has always been quick, and with a definite purpose; to minimize property damage due to water. The alternative to their help would have been costly water and mold damage causing lost revenue due to downtime to our facility and tenants. Their well coordinated efforts have never disappointed us. In every instance, their fee was fair and reasonable.

Damage from Water Loss

Alliance Environmental’s trained and certified professionals immediately access and document the extent of damage from a water loss. As all water damage may not be visible, we use state-of-art technology including thermal imaging cameras, thermo-hygrometers, and moisture meters to detect moisture under floors and behind walls. Categories of Water Loss

Our IICRC trained technicians are equipped to handle all categories of water loss including clean water, gray water containing contaminants, and unsanitary black water containing pathogenic agents.

Category 1: Clean water

Category 1 water is water that does not pose a threat to humans. This includes water from a broken clean water supply line or a faucet. If not properly addressed, however, category 1 water can quickly escalate to category 2 or 3.

Category 2: Gray water

Category 2 water is contaminated and can cause discomfort or illness if ingested. This water may contain bacteria and other microbes. Examples of category 2 water include water from a dishwasher or washing machine, or water that has overflowed from the toilet but not yet mixed with feces.

Category 3: Black water

Category 3 water is highly contaminated and can contain pathogenic agents, toxins, and other harmful substances. This includes water from a sewage backup, river or ocean water, and standing water that has been stagnant for more than 48 hours.

Frequently Asked Questions

Water damage can be caused by a number of factors, including natural disasters such as floods and monsoons, burst pipes, leaky roofs, sewage backups, and appliance malfunctions. It is important to address water damage as quickly as possible to prevent mold growth and further damage.

The process for emergency water mitigation typically involves an initial assessment to determine the extent of the damage, followed by the removal of any standing water using specialized equipment. The affected area is then dried out using fans, dehumidifiers, and other equipment. Any damaged materials are repaired or replaced as needed.

Many insurance policies cover water damage caused by certain events, such as burst pipes or natural disasters. However, it is important to check your policy and speak with your insurance provider to determine what is covered and what steps you need to take to file a claim.

While it is possible to address minor water damage on your own, it is recommended to hire a professional for larger and more severe cases of water damage. Professionals have the expertise and specialized equipment necessary to fully assess the extent of the damage and properly address it to prevent further damage and health risks.

Water damage can create an environment for mold, bacteria, and other microorganisms to grow, which can pose health risks for occupants of the affected property. Exposure to these contaminants can lead to allergic reactions, respiratory problems, and other health issues.
