Top 10 US Cities for Bed Bugs: 2013

Written by Alliance Environmental

You might remember that in 2012 Los Angeles did not make the list of the Top 15 US Cities for Bed Bugs. We were pretty happy about that, especially since we were #8 in 2011. This year’s news is not so good.

Where are we in 2013? We’re #6!

The Top 10 Cities for Bedbugs in 2013:

New York
Los Angeles

I bet Chicago is glad to have moved down from #1 to #8, but all of these cities have some work to do. We hope that the cities which have moved up the list (like Los Angeles) are taking their bed bug epidemics seriously. San Francisco must be doing something right–they didn’t make the top 10 this year!

Heat treatment is by far the best way to deal with bed bug infestations no matter where you live. Alliance can send out a bed bug team to kill every bed bug in your home or apartment or even entire building with high temperatures in one treatment, without using dangerous chemicals or pesticides. ThermaPureHeat kills bed bugs at every stage of development, egg, nymph and breeding adults. We have offices all over California.

It looks like bed bug awareness has helped San Francisco, Chicago and Washington, DC, but clearly there is more to be done about getting the heat treatment message out.

Don’t be part of the bed bug problem, find a solution! If you find that bedbugs have invaded your home, treat them quickly and safely with ThermaPureHeat. ThermaPureHeat is available all over California from Alliance Environmental Group and there is nothing we like better than getting in and getting them out! Contact us!

All of us wish all of you a very Happy and Safe Labor Day Weekend!
