Insulation Removal
& Replacement

Save Money & Stay Comfortable with Professional Insulation

Insulation is an important part of any home, as it helps to regulate the temperature and maintain energy efficiency. Over time, insulation can become damaged or degrade, leading to a decrease in performance. If you’re noticing that your energy bills are higher than usual or that certain areas of your home are drafty, it may be time to consider insulation replacement.

Removing insulation is a hard and tedious project that requires specialized equipment and safety gear. As one of the top insulation removal companies on the west coast, our professional installers will ensure the process is fast and smooth. Alliance begins each insulation removal project with meticulous preparation and the method used depends on the type of insulation.

Removal of Batting (Roll) Insulation

Batting insulation must be rolled up and removed by hand. Each piece is rolled up and placed into specialized insulation removal bags. These heavy-duty bags are removed from the attic, transported offsite, and disposed of properly. Alliance Environmental technicians then vacuum out the entire area to remove any remaining loose insulation, rodent droppings and other debris between each joist.

What Our Clients Are Saying

I had rodents and other pests in my attic, old insulation, and some shoddy work done by contractors, and Alliance came to the rescue. I can’t speak highly enough of Luis and Matthew, but I’m going to try. The Team showed up exactly on time, first thing in the morning at 8am. They were cautious wherever they stepped, covered everything in plastic, and really went to work. It was not an easy job, and they did the whole thing with a smile nd positive attitude. The results are FANTASTIC, and I cannot recommend Alliance highly enough. Hire Alliance and don’t look back. You won’t regret it.

Removal of Blown-In Insulation

Alliance technicians vacuum out blown-in insulation such as fiberglass, cellulose and rock wall. An extended six-inch hose is fed into the attic area where the old insulation is then vacuumed out, along with any rodent waste and debris. All waste is pumped into large insulation removal bags using specialized machinery which remains outside of the structure.

When it comes to insulation replacement, we offer a range of options to meet your needs. We can install new fiberglass or cellulose insulation, or recommend more eco-friendly options like wool or cotton. No matter what type of insulation you choose, we’ll make sure it’s properly installed to ensure maximum energy efficiency and effectiveness.

Pests

One important factor to consider when replacing insulation is pests. Pests like rodents and insects can chew through insulation, causing damage and rendering it less effective. If you have a pest problem, it’s important to address it before replacing your insulation. If you notice signs of rodents in your attic such as droppings, nesting activity, urine stains, odors or sounds, our team of professionals completely clean the space and then seal up their entry points to help prevent future problems.
