Project Overview
As part of a larger renovation project led by Bali Construction, Alliance Environmental was called in to manage the asbestos abatement at the Park Theater—a beloved historic landmark in Lafayette, CA. The building’s age, design, and structural complexity presented a unique set of challenges requiring both technical skill and creative problem-solving.
Our Response
Upon assessment, our team discovered rare asbestos-containing materials located on steep, sloped interior surfaces, making traditional lift access impossible. To safely access and remove materials located more than 30 feet overhead, Branch Manager Greg Sanz and Project Manager Gustavo Perez engineered a custom interior scaffolding system designed specifically for the space.
